League Play will start on September 23rd!

The Fall Season Schedule has been published on DartConnect.

Schueberfouer is over and Glacis has once again been turned into a parking lot , which means that it is also time to break out the darts for league play in the Luxembourg Darts League.

In preparation of the new season, the Captain’s had their traditional meeting on Wednesday, September 16th and decided that League play will resume on September 23rd.

We are happy to announce that a new team is joining us this year: BombaDarts will be playing their home games at the Black Stuff!

Several teams have changed team names:

• ‘Island Boys’ change to ‘Golden Lady Boys’
• ‘New Thards’ change to ‘Thargs’
• ‘Frankie goes to Hollerich’ change to ‘Dexterous Midnight Runners’

Several teams have changed their home venue:

• Game Over will play at Shamrock (Hamilius)
• Golden Lady Boys will play at Oscar’s Pub (Grund)
• Lonely Darts Club will play at Oscar’s Pub (Grund)

In addition, a couple of other changes were approved by the Captains:

• Like last year, in the Fall Season, all teams will play against each other in a single division.
• In the Spring Season, the top 6 teams from the Fall Season will play in the Champions division. The remaining 7 teams will play in the Honors division
  • Both divisions will play a round-robin format in the Spring season!
• The Team Knock Out tournament will be played in the Spring season
  • The top 4 teams in the standings from the Fall season will be seeded 1-4 in the tournament, the remaining teams will be seeded by draw.
  • All the games will be hosted by the lower seeded teams (except for the Finals in case we find a sponsor).
• To cover the rising costs of operating the league (website, trophies, and vouchers), the annual team fee will increase to €75.

The League will also start organizing open trainings for league players on Wednesdays where no league matches are scheduled. In due time, we will open these trainings to all players out there to attract new players and teams for the league.
