Rumor has it that from 1 November all bars in Luxembourg have to be covid check bars.

That means that the 2 first matches: 20 October and 27 October, we have to play in the covid check bars that we already have: Pygmalion – Star bar – Oscars diner – George and dragon.

I wil leave for the captains to decide in which of these bars you are going to play. If you can’t manage to play one of both of these matches you can postpone them til the end of the season. This counts only for these first 2 matches.

Please, let the other team know that you are playing because I have the feeling that not every captain (team) check these website updates.

Dear all,

the pandemic is still not over yet. However the Luxembourgish Darts Federation is starting their new season in october following the rules which the ministry of health has put together, so that it will be possible to play darts in a safe environment.

On wednesday the 1st september 2021 at 19 o’clock a meeting will be held in Oscars Diner to inform the teams about the regulations which are in place until the 15th september. Their can be also made propositions for the new season.

I would propose that a captains meeting will be held afterwards on wednesday 15th september at the same place where the new committee will be elected. At that moment, we will also know if the regulations and rules will be changed be the ministry of health or if the same rules will be extended.

Please note that also a few people will be needed to be part of the new committee.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

First of all, i hope you are well and safe during this difficult time.

It is with deep regret that the LDL committee has to announce the end of the season 19-20!

It has been a very difficult season, as we were not a lot of people in the committee but i know most of you will understand and so i will thank you for your understanding. As the crisis is still going on and we cannot wait any longer, the season has to be cancelled. This is the only responsible way to handle this situation, as all the other federations in Luxembourg have done the same, the LDL will follow.

Therefore, there will be no champion in 1st and 2nd division, no cup winner, as well as no teams going up or down and no prices for the best players and the achievements !!!

Due to some circumstances, i announce that i will resign with immediate effect from the president’s place and that i also won’t be available again for the president’s place. The president’s place has to be renewed every year.

Also the places for a vice-president, a treasurer and a secretary are open. Therefore a whole new committee has to be set up for the upcoming season. !!! All candidatures can be sent to the LDL e-mail adress until the 1st August 2020 !!! They will be then put on the website and the new committee will get all informations from the old committee.

At last, we thank you for your trust during the season and we wish you all the best for the future.

Dear all,

As we all know, we have a critical situation at the moment in Europe due to the Coronavirus. As all federations have susoended all their leagues. The LDL has decided to follow. The LDL will have a break until the 22nd April included. If the situation at that moment is still critical, the season will be stopped and the standings will stay as they are at that moment. And the season will be finished than.

I wish you all a nice break.
